Highlights from NYC's Bridal Market 2010

Here are a few highlights from the Bridal Market in NYC last week. This is basically the fashion week for the wedding industry. It is a 3 day event where designers show their new collections for Spring 2011.  These dresses are the first looks at some AMAZING designers new collections.  They are the ones setting the trends for the upcoming year.  


Monique Lhuillier: This designer creates very feminine gowns, uses extensive detailing, and luxurious fabrics. Her dresses are modern and stylish, with a touch of traditional romance.

As you can see, the trends for this upcoming season are LOTS of ruffles, dropped waistlines, small details, some sparkle, and lots of fluff!  Kiss your plain satin gowns goodbye.
