Rodeo Drive

Well I had so much fun at the Snake River Stampede on Friday! Makes me want to buy a ranch and learn to rope and ride. Oh I should have been a cowboy! haha

Finally some summer fun

I have worked so many weekends. The only weekends I have had off this summer is for Amber's wedding and when I hurt my back. I was approved the day of my bday off which is good because I am hosting a dinner party that day, then I got the 2nd weekend of August off which we will go rafting, camping and visit Will's grandparents for their 60th wedding anniversary!
I am so excited. We blew up the raft a couple weekends ago to make sure it was working and Ava got so excited. She must have remembered last year. We still have a lot to get ready...like buy some sleeping bags. Who doesn't own a sleeping bag??? I used to have a really nice one but I have no clue where it is...like many other items. And I am going to get the dogs life jackets. Preston's swimming isn't very convincing yet. And if he follows Ava's lead he will be leaping off the boat every 5 minutes.
I hope we don't get eaten by any animals when we camp on the beach. I get so scared. I always envision ways to escape or attack something. But in reality I would probably scream and freeze and be carried off into the wilderness getting eaten slowly like that bear guy, Tredwill or something.
Hopefully I get some sun though. My angelically white legs need it!

I Can't Wait Till We Move

I can't stand our subdivision. I don't mind our house, other than we are outgrowing it and our yard is super small...oh and the dairy behind us. But I don'g like our subdivision.
We pay just as much in homeowners as a nice subdivision yet I have no idea were our money goes. The sign at the entrance has a pretty waterfall and pond...then you look at the actual sign and there is mud all over it from little kids that live here.
Here is another sign that is written all over with permanent marker.
Plus the fences aren't stained and they are falling down, the grass is dying, and there are no garbage's around so everyone just chucks their garbage and leaves dog poop on the sidewalk.
Today on our walk I took these pictures. There are McDonald's bags, empty beer cans (in the kid area) and soda cans, the dogs found a chicken bone, yesterday a piece of cheese and of course Preston swallowed it before I could extract it from his mouth. Who knows where it came from or what was on it. The thing I dislike most other than the nasty appearance of our subdivision is the flies. We were told when we purchased that the dairy would be gone...2 years later this is our backyard.
I have written letters and called the homeowners to fix this stuff but they say there is nothing they can do...yet I still have to pay an arm and a leg to live here.
I don't trust the people who live in here. All the kids are heathens that litter and graffiti the entire place. Break stuff on the community center and ruin the pool. So my $$ goes to fixing that stuff. So I am losing respect for their parents which would be my fellow neighbors. I don't even allow my dogs outside (in the front), how am I suppose to allow my kids (if we ever had any).
I just hope something wonderful happens to us so we can move into a nicer place, with a little bit bigger yard and one more bedroom! No flies, no crazy people driving mach 10 through the streets. Just a peaceful place to call home.

Awesome Song from Will & Jen

Will is pretty much the best singer ever!

My travels..

I was thinking last night how blessed I am in every way. But specifically thinking about my family and how without them I would never get to see that things I have seen or done the things I have done. I have got to spend a week on a houseboat at Lake Powell, visit Colorado, go to Disney World twice. I've got to visit Yellowstone, Mexico, California, Seattle and more. Live in Sun Valley, Arizona and Idaho. Its been a blast and I am so thankful that my family is so good to me! I think being able to see so much so young is why I want to see so much more. Even though dad calls me a gypsy I have loved all the adventures in my life!
