Amber's Shower and Bachelorette Party

Had a lot of fun at all of Amber's pre-wedding functions! It was so great to meet so many of her friends. Other than the dress fitting and my tiredness, I loved every second! And thank goodness Becky didn't fall down the stairs, that would be so gross! You who were there will laugh at that. Amber's shower was so pretty. All the lilacs we picked smelled and looked so good. Angie was a wonderful hostess, her house is so cute! She got so many wonderful gifts. You can tell she is very loved. She will definitely have no excused not to cook...or at least bake now! Her bachelorette party was at Quest Casino in Spokane. I thought that I would be doing a lot more gambling but figured...why lose my money :) We hung out in one of the clubs there. It turned out to be a really fun night. Of course I couldn't stay up as late as some, but loved being woke up with garlic bread being tossed at my head. haha
I can't wait to post wedding pics!

My favorite things!

Now that summer is here, I try to get beautified and these are my most faves:

On A Lighter Note

The weather has been nice enough that I got to sit outside today and watch the dogs play.
I was running with them in the yard, then I stopped to switch directions and Ava wasn't watching and ran right into my knees and dropped me to the ground. It made me laugh.
I had a busy week. I started my new job on Friday, walked for a cure, and best of all I got to paint some more of my house.

I absolutely love working on my house. That is why I need to get my butt back in school and finish my Interior Design/Architecture degree! Here is the guest room prior to paint:

And here it is in hopefully a cozy blue. Don't mind the mess on the bed.

And then I painted the master a simple tan color. But it warms it up in there. We are going to put crown up in both of those rooms here soon.

Speaking of crown, we did put up crown in the kitchen. It looks really good. Now I just need to win the lottery so I can put stone counters in. I really like Silestone; Bamboo. It would be perfect in there! But I need about $3000 for that and school...and a trip the Europe will probably be more of a priority than new counters!
